Unemployment numbers see a slight drop locally

  Stuart McFadden, Acting Director Economic Development Services, released unemployment numbers for April today. Unemployment for Chatham-Kent dropped by .1% in April to 7% compared to March. Regionally 6.5% of people are unemployed, while the provincial rate increased .2% to 6.4%. The Chatham-Kent unemployment rate was 8.5% in March of last year.
