Man charged with luring, sexual assault after Facebook tip
A 26-year-old London man is facing multiple charges after Facebook contacted police in relation to messages he reportedly sent to a 15-year-old girl.
The London man is alleged to have communicated with a 15-year-old girl multiple times through Facebook messenger between February 17th and March 8th. The messages were followed up with face-to-face meetings with the young girl in the city.
London Police were contacted by Facebook in relation to the messages, and early yesterday morning, members of the LPS Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit arrested a man at a residence in the south end of the city.
Police say a Kristopher Foster, 26, of London, is charged with:
- Sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age x 3;
- Sexual interference with person under 16 years of age x 3;
- Invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age x 3; and
- Luring a person under 16 years of age x 3.
The accused is expected to appear in London court on May 21st in relation to the charges.
