Wanted man arrested after suspicious person call
A man wanted for failing to comply with his release conditions was arrested last night in Wallaceburg.
Police say the man was released from custody with several conditions on November 4th, 2018. One of those conditions stated that he was to reside at a specific address in Chatham and to notify police in writing within 24 hours of any change in address.
On Saturday, police conducted a compliance check at the man’s address and learned that he was no longer there. Attempts were made to locate him, however when unsuccessful, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Last night, police responded to the report of a suspicious man in a parking lot on Murray Street in Wallaceburg. Officers located the man and identified him as the man wanted above.
Police say Mitchel Crow, 28 years, of Chatham has been charged with failing to comply. He was released with a future court date of April 10th.
