Stolen vehicles found on Highway 401

A 39-year-old Windsor man is facing charges after provincial police recovered two stolen vehicles on Highway 401 in Chatham yesterday.

Police say the vehicles were found within six hours of each other.

Investigation led officers to a man who was at a nearby truck stop. Information revealed that he was currently wanted on a warrant from elsewhere in Ontario. The male was arrested at the scene.

Police learned that the man had been in possession of both stolen vehicles.

David Raymond Dabor, age 39 of Windsor was charged with the following offences;

Breach of Recognizance

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

Theft of Motor Vehicle  

He will appear in a Chatham court on April 5th to answer to the charges.
