Alleged drug traffickers arrested in Chatham

Two Chatham men were arrested for drug trafficking last night.

Police say an officer on general patrol initiated a traffic stop on Park Avenue East in Chatham shortly after 10 p.m. The officer learned that one of the men in the vehicle was wanted for failing to comply with his curfew.  Both men in the vehicle were also found to be in possession of heroin, fentanyl and cocaine.

Police say Kodie Walker, 29 years, was charged with failing to comply and three counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking.   

Ryan Beuglet, 31 years, was charged with three counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking. 

Both men were released with a future court date of January 31st.
