Windsor man charged with second degree murder

A 19-year-old Windsor man has been charged in connection with the death of a 36-year-old man.

According to Windsor police, patrol officers were dispatched to a hotel located in the 2800 block of Howard Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Police learned that a person had been seriously injured after dropping from the second floor of the building.
As officers arrived, the injured man was being transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, the victim succumbed to his injuries.

Police say Robert Legebow was arrested in relation to this investigation and charged with one count of second degree murder.
The matter remains under active investigation.
