Wallaceburg man charged with drunk driving, speeding
A 24-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with drunk driving and speeding after a traffic stop on St. Clair Street early Sunday morning.
OPP say the vehicle was stopped at around 2:40 a.m. While speaking with the driver, the officer determined the driver had consumed alcohol. The driver was transported to detachment for further tests.
Police say the male driver, Dylan Druer, has been charged with the following:
- drive motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada, and
- speeding, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
The accused is required to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on November 14th to answer to the charges.
