Surgery successful for Dresden shooting victim
Police are saying the victim of a shooting Saturday night at Dresden Raceway is expected to go home soon after successfully undergoing surgery.
The 58-year-old man was shot just before 11 p.m. and suffered non-life threatening injuries. He was taken to CKHA and later transferred to London Health Sciences Centre.
Police believe the shooting was not accidental and that there is no threat to the public. The area was evacuated on Saturday night and Chatham-Kent police are thanking those in attendance for their understanding.
