London police seek suspect after 4-year-old child abducted
London police are seeking the public’s help after a 4-year-old child was abducted Sunday morning.
Police say the child was abducted in the area of Barker Street and Melsandra Avenue at around 9:15 a.m. by a male suspect operating a beige/gold coloured vehicle.
Witnesses followed the vehicle and the child was located nearby, a short time later. The child did not suffer any physical injuries as a result of the incident.
The suspect is described as an older male and he was believed to be the only occupant in the vehicle at the time of the incident.
The vehicle has been identified as a gold or beige coloured older model Chevrolet Impala (four door sedan). Police are requesting assistance in identifying this vehicle.
The investigation has been assigned to members of the Criminal Investigation Division.
