Chatham woman arrested on outstanding warrants

A 32-year-old Chatham woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant yesterday morning.

Police say the woman was released from Court with several conditions on December 12th. One of those conditions was that she not communicate with a specific man. On April 29th, police observed the woman communicating with this man. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

Yesterday morning the woman attended the police station and turned herself in on the outstanding warrant.

The 32-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

On February 16th, a man was arrested in connection with a Mischief complaint, and for Driving While Suspended. He was charged with Mischief under $5000 and Operate Motor Vehicle while under Suspension. He was released with conditions and a future court and print date.

On March 5th, the man failed to attend for fingerprints. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Yesterday afternoon, the man was arrested by police in Ridgetown.

Police say Jason Currie, 33 years, of Ridgetown was released with a future court date of June 6th.
