Chatham man charged with breaching curfew
On December 2nd, a man was released from Court with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to abide by a daily curfew of 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Just after midnight this morning, police were notified by a concerned citizen that the man was making threats to a person and believed to be in the area of the Via Rail station.
Officers attended the area of Queen St in Chatham and found the man outside his residence and allegedly under the influence of drugs. He was arrested.
Police say the 31-year-old Chatham man has been charged with failing to comply. He is in custody for a bail hearing.
