Wallaceburg crash claims the life of 18-year-old woman
An accident in Wallaceburg last night took the life of an 18-year-old woman and sent an 18-year-old man to a Windsor hospital with hypothermia.
The single vehicle crash occurred on Border Road, just after 8 p.m. The vehicle left the road and entered a water-filled ditch, landing upside down and becoming partially submerged. When police arrived a volunteer firefighter was already on the scene. Both victims were transported to Sydenham District Hospital and the man was transferred to Hotel-Dieu-Grace in Windsor.
The names of those involved in the collision are not being released at this time.
