Woman charged with stealing from ex-boyfriend’s home
A 20-year-old Wallaceburg woman is facing theft charges after allegedly stealing various items from her ex-boyfriend’s home.
Police say the man awoke to find his ex-girlfriend inside his home Sunday at around 7 a.m. The woman was asked to leave, however she refused. The woman allegedly stole various items from the man’s residence, valued at about $300 and fled the area on her bicycle.
Yesterday afternoon, the woman re-attended the man’s home and she was arrested. The woman has been charged with unlawfully in a dwelling house, theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. She was released with conditions and a future court date of February 27th.
