Man charged with failing to attend for fingerprints
A 20-year-old Bayfield man was arrested yesterday afternoon for failing to appear for fingerprints.
Police say the man was charged with mischief under $5000 on November 2nd. He was required to attend the Chatham Court House on November 30th to be fingerprinted for the mentioned offence, but failed to do so. Attempts made to locate the man were unsuccessful and therefore, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday at 3 p.m. the man turned himself in at the Chatham police station where he was arrested. He was charged with failing to appear for fingerprints and later released with a court date of February 2nd.
