Men charged with failing to comply

In November, a man was released from custody with conditions.  One of his conditions was to attend CKPS on a specific day and time every week starting on December 5th to sign a form.  Police say he failed to do this yesterday.  Attempts made to contact the man were unsuccessful and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Last night at 7:30 p.m. the 35-year-old Chatham man was located at his address, arrested on the warrant and charged with failing to comply.  He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he has been held for a bail hearing.

In November, a man was released from custody with conditions.  One of his conditions was to live at a certain address in Blenheim and remain inside that residence between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. daily.

Last night at 11:15 p.m. an officer attended the man’s address to ensure he was abiding by his curfew condition.  The man was not home and his whereabouts were unknown.  Therefore, a warrant for his arrest was issued.

Early this morning at 4:20 a.m. the 24-year-old Blenheim man was located, arrested and charged with failing to comply.  He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters where he is held for a bail hearing.
