CK Reads: coming soon!

In January 2018, Chatham-Kent Public Library will launch a “One Book, One Community” project called CK Reads. CK Reads will encourage residents throughout the Municipality of Chatham-Kent to read the same book.

The chosen title and author will be revealed on January 8th! Readers are invited to come together to explore its themes and issues in a variety of community settings. The goal of the program is to encourage people to read and to increase a sense of community in CK by creating a common topic of conversation through a shared love of reading.

CKPL will be offering CK Reads programming from January until April, ending with the author paying a visit to the Chatham Branch on April 28th, 2018! Programming will include estate planning and organizing, how to digitize photos, leather journal making, a ‘fix-it’ workshop, book clubs and more! Full details will be revealed at www.ckreads.ca on January 8th, 2018.
