Blenheim man charged with mischief at Canada Post Office
A 25-year-old Blenheim man is facing a mischief charge after allegedly kicking the glass door at the front of the Canada Post Office in Blenheim causing it to shatter.
Police say the incident occurred yesterday at 2:30 p.m. He then left the area and police were called. The estimated value of damage is $600.
At 3:50 p.m. Wesley Hebert, 25 years, of Talbot Trail in Blenheim was located at his residence, arrested and charged with mischief under $5000.
He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and later released with a court date of January 9th.
