Sarnia police investigate Sunday morning stabbing

Sunday at around 8 a.m. Sarnia police received a call regarding a stabbing who had occurred in the area of Brock Street and Lochiel Street.

Initially officers were unable to locate the possible victim but shortly thereafter they found a 32-year-old man, who had been stabbed, at a residence in the area of Forsyth Street and Davis Street.

The victim was transported to hospital and later transferred to a London Hospital with serious injuries, where he still remains.

At this time members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the matter and are hoping for witnesses to come forward to assist.
