Chatham man charged with driving while under suspension

Yesterday morning just after 10 a.m. a traffic stop was initiated when an officer on routine patrol observed a man driving a red Ford vehicle on Grand Avenue W. in Chatham. The man is known to police for driving while his license is under suspension. Officers learned that the man is unlicensed due to a previous charge of driving with a suspended license and also a family support suspension.

The 46-year-old Chatham man was charged with two counts of driving while under suspension and his vehicle was towed from the scene.
