On Tuesday, February 14th Boston Pizza is once again helping Canadians open their hearts with its annual heart-shaped pizza fundraising campaign.

One dollar from each pizza sold, including heart-shaped pizzas, supports Boston Pizza Foundation Future Prospects, which helps youth across the country benefit from positive role models and mentoring programs.

Guests can also make a minimum donation of $2 to BPF Future Prospects and receive a Boston Pizza Paper Heart. Every Paper Heart can be redeemed for $5 off your next visit as a thank you for supporting the Foundation. Additionally, this year guests will also be able to purchase special Future Prospects Red Velvet Cakes, sold until April 2nd; a decadent treat from which one dollar will also benefit the Foundation.

“Since 1980, we have celebrated Valentine’s Day with heart-shaped pizzas, and it’s become a tradition for many of our guests. This year we look forward to once again welcoming guests who want to celebrate with that special someone while also supporting an important cause,” says Cheryl Treliving, Executive Director of Boston Pizza Foundation Future Prospects. “Our goal is to raise a record amount of donations for Boston Pizza Foundation Future Prospects in support of mentorship programs that help youth reach their maximum potential. We are grateful to all of our guests across Canada for their ongoing support and donations to our Foundation.”

Heart-shaped pizzas are available in small and medium size (excluding thin crust), with classic or multigrain dough, and can be ordered for dine-in, take-out or delivery in any of Boston Pizza’s gourmet and create-your-own pizza varieties.

Boston Pizza expects to serve more than 60,000 heart-shaped pizzas on Valentine’s Day this year.
