Man charged after tractor-trailer lost its load on Highway 401

Yesterday, around 10:50 a.m, a vector trailer lost its load of scrap automobile engines on Highway 401 near Windsor. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a man with making an Unsafe Lane Change.

No one was injured in the crash.

All three westbound lanes were blocked and westbound lanes were closed at Highway 3 while the debris was cleaned up.

There was some damage caused to the roadway.

The Ministry of Transportation was also on scene and inspected the tractor-trailer and laid further charges.
