Man charged after causing disturbance at police station

Yesterday, around 5:30 p.m., a man entered police headquarters in an intoxicated state.

The man began causing a disturbance in the lobby. According to police, he was taken into custody for his own safety.

The 24-year-old Chatham man was charged with being intoxicated in a public place and will be released when sober.
