Joyride ends with no charges laid

A call from a concerned citizen about a young person driving a car and ducking down in the vehicle to avoid being spotted put an end to a joyride in Chatham yesterday. According to police a woman spotted youths in the car just before 5 p.m. They were pulled over near Riverview and Keil Drive in Chatham.

The owner of the car was called and the car was retrieved by them. They had not given consent for anyone to drive the vehicle. A family member picked up the youths. No charges were laid.
