Chatham-Kent Health Alliance sevices altered over the holiday season

Chatham-Kent Health Alliance announces residents that some healthcare services offered at Chatham & Wallaceburg campuses will be altered over the holiday season.

Routine X-rays, EKG, and ultrasounds will not be available on December 25th and 28th and January 1st, 2016. It will reopen on January 4th. These departments will be staffed to meet the needs of inpatients and emergencies. Ultrasound will be on-call on December 25th and January 1st, 2016.

Out-Patient Rehabilitation Services at the Chatham and Sydenham Campus, the Diabetes Education Centre and the TIA and CAD clinics will be closed on December 25th and 28th and January 1st, 2016. At the Sydenham Campus, the Diabetes Education Centre will be closed from December 25th through to January 1st, 2016 and will reopen on January 4.

Pulmonary Function Lab, Chatham Campus, will be closed December 21st through to December 25th and December 28th through to January 1st, 2016 and will reopen on January 4.
Pulmonary Function Lab, Sydenham Campus, will be closed December 24th and 25th and December 31st to January 1st, 2016 and will reopen on January 6.

The Chatham-Kent Mental Health and Addictions Program, Health Education Department will be closed on December 25th and 28th and January 1st, 2016.

Out-Patient Lab Services will be closed from 12 noon on December 24th through to January 1st, 2016. Out-Patient Lab Services will reopen on January 4th, 2016 at 8 a.m.

The Pre-Surgical Screening Department will be closed December 24th through to December 28th and December 31st to January 1st, 2016 and will reopen on January 4th.

The Patient Appointment Office and the Health Records Department will be closed December 25th and 28th, 2015 and January 1st, 2016.

Elston Pharmacy, located at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, will be closed at 2 p.m. starting on December 24th and will reopen December 29th to December 31st from 9 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. The Pharmacy will be closed January 1st, 2016 and back to regular business hours on January 4th.

Chatham Campus Ambulatory Care Department will be closed December 24th, 25th and 28th, and December 31st, 2015 to January 2nd and will reopen on January 4th. Ambulatory Care at Chatham Campus will be open on December 29th and 30th to accommodate patients.

Sydenham Campus Ambulatory Care Department will be open on December 22nd, from 8 to 12 and December 29th, from 8 to 12. It will be closed on December 24th and December 31st, reopening on January 5th, 2016.

The Oncology Department will be closed on December 25th and 28th and again on January 1st, 2016.

The Business Office and Cashier Office will be closed on December 24th through to and including December 28th. The Cashier’s Office and limited business services will be available on December 29th through to December 31st. These offices will be closed on January 1st, 2016 and will reopen on January 4th. Please note there are two bill changers in the building to accommodate change for parking.

Hemodialysis Care will be closed December 25th and January 1st, 2016, and open on December 27th and January 3rd, 2016 to accommodate patient needs.

The Emergency Departments at the Grand Avenue, Chatham, and Sydenham Campuses are open 24 hours daily.
