Asiah Tatsu is in the fifth grade at King George public school and his design won this year’s t-shirt design competition. The contest was organized by Chatham Optimist Club and Chatham Kent Police Service.
Thirty-nine schools in Chatham Kent were participating. The program’s goal is to establish positive community-police relationships. Students meet their V.I.P officers on six occasions and learn about subjects such as: shoplifting awareness, victims and vandals, the dangers of drugs and bullying.
