21-year-old Thamesville man charged with assault

C-K PoliceOn December 13th, around 2:40 a.m. police responded to an altercation in the parking lot of the Arlington Tavern in Ridgetown.  Upon police arrival, everyone cleared the area.

Afterwards, police received information that the man was at a residence on York Street and was looking to confront a young man regarding the altercation in the parking lot.

As the young man’s relative exited his home, a verbal argument began in the driveway and the man assaulted him.  The 65-year-old man was injured transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention.

Last night, police located and arrested the 21-year-old Thamesville man. He was released with conditions and has court date on January 8th, 2016.
