Library Seeks Public Input for Strategic Plan

library logoChatham-Kent Public Library is seeking community input to develop its Five-Year Strategic Plan. The public has been invited to attend one of several planned Community Open Houses to meet with library trustees, managers and staff to discuss the services they’d like the library to offer in the next five years.  The library is also conducting an online survey for patrons of the library to provide input.

The Chatham-Kent Public Library has served the community since 1998 when it was created through the amalgamation of the Kent County Public Library and the Chatham Public Library. It has provided a wonderful legacy of service. Now it’s time to see what exciting changes are in store that can guarantee the library’s relevance and sustainability into the future.

Community Open Houses:
Tilbury Branch               Thursday, November 26              6:00 to 8:00 pm
Thamesville Branch           Wednesday, December 2            4:00 to 6:00 pm
Chatham Branch               Monday, December 7                  2:00 to 4:00 pm
