Canadian killed fighting in Syria will be repatriated Friday
The body of John Robert Gallagher will be repatriated on Friday and will be arriving in Blenheim. His death was reported by the Syrian observatory for human rights on November fourth.
They will form up at Mackinnon & Bowes Funeral Home, 162 Wicksteed Avenue, Toronto with a planned departure at noon sharp. From there they will be heading up Leslie Street and getting on the 401 traveling westbound.
They will then be exiting on highway 40 and heading south to Blenheim on Communication Road. Continuing to than turn right on Talbot Road, then left on Catherine and drive by the Royal Canadian Legion and make their war to Blenheim community funeral home.
Everyone in Chatham-Kent is encouraged to come out in respect of a fallen Canadian hero who fought so that others may live, by lining the bridges for a highway of heroes ceremony between Toronto and Blenheim, Ontario.
At a later date there will be a public ceremony in Toronto that all are invited to attend.
