Sarnia woman arrested for harassment
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a Sarnia woman after a harassment complaint.
In August 2015 the woman started contacting a Wallaceburg resident known to her via phone and text about a family matter. This texts were unwanted and the woman was warned by police to stop.
On October 8, the woman began texting the Wallaceburg woman many times, again. The woman was asked to stop, however continued and so police were contacted again.
Early this morning around 3:30 a.m. the woman was located and taken into custody. The 44-year-old Sarnia woman has been charged with criminal harassment. She was released with a court date of October 27.
