Roadside suspension follows speeding charge on the 401
A 51-year-old man had his licence suspended for three days after a traffic stop for speeding near the Tilbury OnRoute Service Centre. Christopher Unsworth was pulled over by the Chatham-Kent OPP in his Chevrolet Silverado for speeding through a construction zone.
Police suspected the man of drinking while speaking to him and did a roadside test. Unsworth registered a “warn range suspension”, according to the OPP. Consequently the Petrolia man is suspended from driving for three days and is charged with speeding over 80 km/h through a construction zone.
