An outstanding warrant, issued September 24, landed a 24-year-old Chatham man in police custody last night. He was arrested on Harvey Street for two counts of breaching his probation. He was released with a court date of October 30.

Failing to attend court doesn’t pay for woman

On September 4, a Chatham woman had a warrant issued for her arrest when she failed to attend court.

Last night police found the woman and she was arrested. She is accused of theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by a crime $5000, breach of probation and failing to attend court. The 42-year-old was released with a court date of October 30.

Woman held in police custody for public intoxication

A Raleigh Township woman was arrested last night after being found in public while intoxicated. Just before 4:30 a.m. today police had a report about the woman on Sandys Street.

The 46-year-old woman was taken into custody for her own safety. She has been charged with being intoxicated in a public place and will be released when she sobers up.
