A collision on Friday between a motorcycle and car occurred on Highway 40 at River Line, sending two to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Just after 3 p.m., Chatham-Kent OPP and Chatham-Kent EMS were called to the scene after a southbound Buick car rear-ended the motorcycle as it was stopped to make a left-hand turn onto River Line.

The male driver and female passenger of the motorcycle, both from London, were taken to hospital by ambulance.

The 68-year-old male driver of the Buick, Jacob Loeppky, from Hensall, has been charged with careless driving. He was uninjured.
