Katie Omstead signs allegedly taken
As we enter the closing stretch of the election the local Liberal Party in Chatham-Kent-Leamington is reporting that up to twenty signs have been stolen and they are being forced to replace them.
“We live in a democracy where all party beliefs should be shared and respected. We remain committed to a positive clean campaign”, said Omstead in response to the signs being stolen. She also urged anyone who sees the signs of any other party being stolen or vandalized to call the police and report it.
It is an important reminder that just because someone disagrees with a party, it does not mean you can take signs. Take any disagreements you have with the parties to the polls.
Advanced polling is open for a final day tomorrow
from noon to 8 p.m. Voting information can be found on your voting card.
