Hit and run crash in Chatham

A hit and run crash sent a motorcyclist to hospital yesterday.

The accident happened yesterday around 5:30 p.m. on Lacroix Street near Mary Street in Chatham. The biker was cared for by paramedics and firefighters before being taken to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with at least one broken bone.

Police say that the second vehicle involved left the scene.

There were no further details about the incident at the scene yesterday.
