$5000 handbag stolen from Porsche

Someone smashed the window of a 2015 Porsche Cayenne Turbo and stole a tan Louis Vuitton briefcase valued at $5000. The tall, thin suspect fled the area on a red bicycle and was last wearing all dark clothing with a hood. Police say the theft happened last night just after 7 p.m. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2000.

Anyone with information is asked to contact constable Ian Scoyne at ians@chatham-kent.ca or 519-436-6600 extension #87292. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.

Whoever was stupid enough to leave a Louis Vuitton briefcase in a luxury SUV was begging to have it stolen. That being said, it’s obscene to spend that kind of money on a briefcase. This is Chatham, not Hollywood.

No it shouldn’t matter,,,, the value of any thing in a car or any other kind of ride…… The thief is the stupid one it didn’t belong to them so they shouldn’t have stolen it in the frist place….. Hope they catch him and the victim get their stuff back
