Sean Vanderiviere of Chatham woke up this morning to find his Ford Escort had been side-swiped while parked on Vanier Dr.
Sometime between last night and prior to 10 a.m. this morning, someone driving north on Vanier Dr. side-swiped the Escort, leaving debris scattered on the road. The suspect then fled the scene. Upon further investigation it is believed the suspect was driving a 2002 vehicle, that may be black in colour.

The speed limit is posted as a 40km/h “strictly enforced”, however residents say that the speed of motorists is not deterred by this warning.
