The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a domestic disturbance earlier this morning. Police responded to a residence in Chatham in regards to a physical altercation between a man and woman. The woman attended the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention.

The 27-year-old Chatham man was taken into custody and charged with assault and he has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
