At about 11:40 p.m. last night the Chatham-Kent police arrested a 23-year-old Chatham man for impaired driving.

A pickup truck miscalculated making a turn, climbed a curb and ran across a front lawn on Park Lane.

Police suspected the driver had been drinking and took him to police headquarters for breath tests.

He was held in custody until sober and released with conditions and a court date.
