Chatham-Kent police arrested a man for impaired driving in Thamesville last night.

Just before midnight police arrived at the scene of an accident on Jane Road. A man had lost control of his vehicle and it left the roadway, striking a fence. Police believed the man was driving the vehicle while drunk and he was put into custody. He was then taken to police headquarters for breath tests.

Evan Cameron, 19, of Centre Side Road in Dresden has been charged with having a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit. He was released with a court date of April 24.
