16-year-old Blenheim teen charged with trafficking drugs

Police are reporting this morning that they arrested a 16-year-old boy with selling a large amount of marijuana in Blenheim. According to the police they received information that an extremely large number of high-school students and other young people were going to a Blenheim address to buy and use drugs.

Yesterday afternoon members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section executed a drug warrant. A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of just under $4000 worth of marijuana, cash and digital scales.

The Blenheim youth was arrested and charged with trafficking and drug possession. He was released to a parent pending a future court date.
