Man arrested while walking drunk on the 401

Yesterday just after 5 a.m., the Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a male pedestrian walking on the shoulder of highway 401, eastbound near Harwich Road.

During conversation with the man, police determined that he had been drinking alcohol. A search was conducted and resulted in the seizure some marijuana.

31-year-old Jeremy Rushlow, from Chatham, has been charged with possession of marijuana over 30 grams and being intoxicated in a public place.

He is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on May 14.
