A Blenheim man is facing a slew of driving charges after the OPP pulled him over on Saturday, just before 9 p.m. Paul Cory, 41, was stopped for a traffic violation when police suspected he had been drinking. The Chatham-Kent OPP officer saw an open container of alcohol in the man’s Chevrolet Cavalier. His licence has been suspended. Further investigation by the OPP found his licence was suspended, his vehicle was not insured and his licence plates were not authorized for his vehicle. He was also ticketed for having no validation sticker.
A 45-year-old passenger from Chatham was charged with having an open liquor container outside of a licensed premises.
