Woman charged with drunk driving after accident

s police 4A 39-year-old Chatham woman has been charged with drinking and driving after losing control of her vehicle and striking a tree last night. The woman was southbound on Charing Cross Road, south of the 401 when she left the road and hit the tree.

Police suspected that she had been drinking and conducted a roadside breath test. The woman failed the test and was taken to police headquarters for further tests. Damage to her vehicle is estimated at $6000.

Heather Clayton, of Merrit Avenue in Chatham, was charged with having a blood alcohol concentration that exceeds the legal limit. She was released with a court date.

    Why are they not putting names to these dumbasses who drink and drive. Seriously I’m tired of paying through the ass for people to babysit these idiots who can’t get the message. Time for another increase in discipline boyz!
