One man with serious injuries after single vehicle accident

s police1One man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident yesterday afternoon on Lindsay Road, south of Claymore Line.

Around 4:15 p.m. yesterday afternoon, emergency crews responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Lindsay Road south of Claymore Line.

A man was travelling south on Lindsay Road, at about 4:15 p.m., when he lost control of his truck and left the road. The vehicle sheared a hydro pole, flipped and came to rest in a nearby field. He was not wearing his seatbelt and was extricated from the vehicle by fire-fighters. The 30-year-old Chatham Township man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with serious injuries and later transferred to a London Hospital. Damage was estimated at $12,000.

    Anyone else noticing that there seems to be a crazy amount of people getting into accidents this last month or so? Slowing down may not be the answer but its a start folks
