CKPS seek public assistance in attempted break-in this morning
The Chatham-Kent police need the public’s assistance on an incident early this morning.
Around 5:30 a.m. an unknown man was observed trying to break in to a trailer at Tony’s One Stop Music Shop on Centre Street in Chatham.
The suspect is described as a white man, about 40, tall with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing and fled the scene on a bicycle.
Damage to the trailer has been estimated at $20. Entry was not gained.
