A 47-year-old man from Wallaceburg has been charged with two counts of threatening after arguing with another man on the phone.
The two men, who know each other, started arguing around 3 p.m. on Friday and it carried over for a few hours when the man continued to call the complainant while leaving belligerent, obscene and threatening messages.
Yesterday afternoon police found the man and he was arrested. He has been charged with two counts of uttering threats and he was released with conditions and a future court date.
