A 59-year-old Thamesville man was struck by a vehicle as he walked across the street at about noon yesterday. The man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with non-life threatening injuries.
The man was hit on Main Street East near Victoria Avenue.
A 43-year-old man from Alberta was travelling on Victoria Avenue when he turned left and struck the man.
The collision remains under investigation.
