The Chatham-Kent police say they arrested a man carrying a two feet piece of wood this morning just after 3:30 a.m.

A complaint was received that the man had chased a vehicle with what was believed to be a baseball bat.

A 58-year-old man was arrested near Riverview Drive and Orchard Heights. Police believe he was under a narcotic influence. He was released with a court date.
