The Chatham-Kent police say they have laid multiple charges after a violent incident last night near Tecumseh Park.

At about 9 p.m. police were called about a disturbance near the park. A 27-year-old man was found and charged with one count of assault. Following an investigation police added two more assaults charges and a charge for mischief.

The man was released with a court date.
