Police say a 39-year-old woman was arrested just after 1 p.m. yesterday following a shoplifting complaint at PharmaPlus on McNaughton Avenue West.
The woman went into the pharmacy and picked up some cosmetic items that she did not pay for upon leaving the premises. Police were contacted and found the woman on Sandys Street.
Angela Daly, 39 years, of Foster Street in Chatham has been charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. She was released with conditions and a court date.
